PROUD TO SERVE MUNHALL BOROUGH
Munhall Central Volunteer Fire and Rescue, Inc. was formed in 2014 through the consolidation of Munhall #2 and Munhall #3 (Franklin Volunteer Fire Company). In 2010, Munhall #2 faced low membership and operational challenges, leading to discussions about merging with other local companies. After initial hesitations, Munhall #3 revisited the idea in 2011, and the two companies began the complex process of combining their operations and leadership.
The name “Munhall Central” was chosen to reflect our central location and unified mission. By mid-2014, the consolidation was complete, creating a more resilient and effective fire and rescue service for the community.

Munhall Central Volunteer Fire and Rescue, Inc. saw significant growth in both membership and equipment, including the acquisition of a new fire engine in 2022, a major milestone that symbolized their progress and dedication.
